بررسی نیازهای اطلاعاتی مراقبان غیرحرفه‌ای افراد بزرگسال مبتلا به آلزایمر در منزل: یک مطالعه کیفی

چکیده
زمینه و هدف: یکی از بیماری‌های رایج در افراد سالخورده بیماری آلزایمر است که به دلیل ماهیت ویژه آن نیاز به مراقبت‌های خاصی دارد. اکثر خانواده‌ها در ایران به دلایلی همچون مسائل مذهبی، بافت فرهنگی و اقتصادی تصمیم به مراقبت از فرد بیمار در منزل می‌گیرند که این امر می‌تواند یک نظام مراقبت بهداشتی محسوب شود. یکی از دغدغه‌های اصلی خانواده‌های بیماران مبتلا به آلزایمر نیاز آنان به اطلاعات مناسب و درخور در خصوص شیوه برخورد با بیماران و چگونگی مراقبت از آن‌ها می‌باشد. بنابراین هدف اصلی پژوهش، شناسایی اطلاعات مورد نیاز همراهان در مراقبت از بیماران مبتلا به آلزایمر است.

روش پژوهش: پژوهش حاضر، با رویکرد کیفی و به روش تحلیل محتوا از نوع مقوله‌ای انجام شد. جامعه آماری بخش کیفی شامل 9 نفر از همراهان بیماران مبتلا به آلزایمر در کرمانشاه بود. ابزار گردآوری اطلاعات مصاحبه و به روش مصاحبه‌ی نیمه ساختار یافته انجام شد.

یافته‌ها: یافته‌ها نشان داد، چهار مقوله اصلی و شانزده مقوله فرعی در نیازهای اطلاعاتی همراهان بیماران مبتلا به آلزایمر از اهمیت زیادی برخوردارند. مقوله‌های اصلی شامل نیازهای اطلاعاتی مرتبط با بیماری آلزایمر، مراقبت‌های روحی و روانی، مراقبت‌های جسمی و بهداشت فردی و سازمان‌های خدماتی بهداشتی بود.

نتیجه‌گیری: به طور کلی همراهان بیماران دارای دانش محدودی در خصوص انواع مراقبت‌های مورد نیاز بیماران مبتلا به آلزایمر بودند. بنابراین ضروری است که ارائه دهندگان خدمات بهداشتی که مرتبط با بیماری آلزایمر هستند علاوه بر خدمات تخصصی، اقدام به آموزش‌های لازم کرده تا همراهان بتوانند خدمات بهتری در اختیار این بیماران قرار دهند.

An Investigation Into Information Needs of Amateur Cares of Adult Alzheimers Patients: A qualitative Study

چکیده English

Background and Aim: A prevalent disese among old people is Alzheimers (AD), which requires special care due to its nature. Taking relegion, culture and economy into account, mojorty of families protect an old family member afflicted with AD. However, major concern is the need for sufficient information regarding treatment of elderly dignosed with AD.

Method: Qualitative research approach was applied and content analysis method utilized to analyze the data. Population included 9 patients with Alzheimers. The instrument used was a semi-structured interviews.

Finding: The results of the content analysis of the obtained categories showed that the four main categories and sixteen sub categories are important in the information needs of adherents of patients with AD. The main categories include information needs related to AD, information needs related to mental health, information needs related to physical and personal health and information needs related to health services.

Conclusion: In general, amateur cares (caregiver) were of limited knowledge of physical and mental care regarding AD. Healthcare providers or institutions providing Alzheimer care are mandatory. In addition to specialized services, these people have been trained to provide patients with better patient care
